Seeding of grasses, mixed with fertilizer, a wood pulp mulch, and a “tackifier” to stick the mix to the ground, applied by a machine blower in a wet condition to exposed, denuded slopes or embankments. (If no mulch is used, it is called hydro-seeding.)
