hyperventilation

Hyperventilation is the condition of breathing excessively and often with effort; a clinical sign. The normal rate of respiratory rate can be up to 35 per minute for the an adult and 50 per minute for a newborn. However, biochemically, hyperventilation means ventilation to keep the partial pressure of oxygen in the arterial blood lower than its normal value of 40 mmHg
