omphalocele

Omphalocele is found at birth and due to the incomplete closure of the anterior abdominal wall. The abdominal contents, stomach, liver, spleen and intestine is seen within a sac. The presence of the sac distinguishes this condition from gastroschisis in which there is no sac.
