shoulder-hand syndrome

Shoulder-hand syndrome is characterized by burning pain and swelling of the fingers and hand with skin atrophy and increased sweat secretion in association with a painful, stiff shoulder. The range of motion of the shoulder on the affected arm is decreased. The pathogenesis of this condition is still uncertain.
