Department of Medical Informatics is a department in the School of Medicine. Established in 1972 and focuses on clinical health information systems, computerized decision-making, evaluation of computerized patient care, genetic epidemiology/Bioinformatics, medical imaging, and medical informatics research. Current education and research opportunities range from basic to applied sciences and encompass four tracks for the MS and PhD degrees.
