National Organic Standards Board
A board established by Title 21 of the FACT Act of 1990 to develop national standards for practices and substances to be used in implementing a National Organic Program. Producers meeting these standards can sell their products as "USDA Certified Organic." As of mid-1999 the standards had not been finalized. Selected National Organic Standards Board links: |
