chlamydial infections
Chlamydiae are small, obligatory intracellular parasites (bacteria) which cause a major proportion of sexually transmitted diseases. Infections can often produce no symptoms, but left untreated can cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) in women, which can lead to sterility. Selected chlamydial infections links:
