CREST syndrome
CREST syndrome occurs to some patients with scleroderma. It includes: Calcinosis cutis (calcium deposits in the skin), Raynaud's phenomenon, Esophageal involvement, Sclerodactyly (fingers are swollen, firm with tight skin) , and Telangiectasia. Scleroderma patients with CREST syndrome have better prognosis than those not associated with CREST. Selected CREST syndrome links:
