dysmotility
Any abnormal movement of a mobile cell (such as a spermatozooan) or microorganism. For instance, if a sperm cell were to go round and round in a circle instead of heading in a straight path toward an egg cell, it would be considered dysmotile. An abnormality of the muscular contractions of the gut, which interfere with the movement of food through the digestive tract. Selected dysmotility links:
