Eisenmenger's syndrome
Eisenmenger's syndrome is characterized by pulmonary hypertension and a right-to-left or bi-directional shunt. The shunt can be atrial or ventricular. Most patients can not survive beyond age 40 and demise occurs when the fraction of right-to-left shunt increases. Selected Eisenmenger's syndrome links:
