heptachlor
A poisonous substance which is often used as an insecticide. At room temperature it is a white solid; it can be dissolved with CCl4 (carbon tetrachloride) and has a melting point of 95-96°C. Heptachlor has the chemical formula of C10H7Cl7. Selected heptachlor links:
