HindII
A restriction enzyme which cuts DNA wherever it sees the following nucleotide sequence: 5' G T Py Pu A C 3' 3' C A Pu Py G T 5' The enzyme cuts the DNA between the Py and Pu on both strands. The Hind II enzyme was originally found in the bacterium Hemophilus influenzae. Selected HindII links:
