IVP
An intravenous pyelogram is an imaging technique by displaying the contour of the urinary tract which is highlighted with radiopaque dyes (contrast) injected intravenously and secreted by the renal tubules of the kidneys. It provides information of the differential filtration rates of the kidneys, the kidney sizes, position, abnormal anatomies or growths, presence of stones in the kidney, and ureter.
