prostatic acid phosphatase
Blood levels of this enzyme are elevated in the blood of some patients with prostate cancer. Elevated PAP levels also are associated with other types of cancer, including multiple myeloma, osteogenic (bone) sarcoma, and cancers that have spread to the bone.
