Q wave
A Q wave is a negative deflection at the onset of a QRS complex in an electrocardiogram. An abnormal Q wave is one that spans 0.04 seconds or more in duration and reaches greater than 25% of the amplitude of the adjacent R wave. Selected Q wave links:
