About Healthboard
Healthboard.com started as a health forum and discussion board in 1996 — one of the earliest places on the web where patients could pull up a virtual gurney and openly share health questions, experiences, and insights with other readers. No appointments, no forms, no gatekeeping. Just people helping people.

For years the forums drew millions of readers each month, building one of the largest peer-to-peer health communities on the internet. The site was an early proof that people would actively seek out health information online — years before WebMD, years before Reddit, years before anyone called it “social media.”
The internet has changed a lot since then. Finding a doctor, a therapist, or a cash-pay clinic that fits your needs is still harder than it should be. Healthboard is now a curated provider directory — built on the same founding principle: make it easy for people to find the healthcare they need, without friction.
What we cover
We focus on four areas where patients face the most difficulty finding care: telehealth, mental health, direct-pay and cash-pay practices, and functional & integrative medicine. Every profile shows insurance accepted, telehealth availability, pricing when available, and verified patient reviews.
For patients
Search by specialty, location, insurance, or care type. Every profile is free to view. Leave a review for any provider you've seen to help other patients make informed decisions — the same spirit as the original forums, just more structured.
For providers
Provider profiles are built from public data and listed at no cost. Claim your profile to update your information, add specialties, and connect with patients searching in your area. A Featured listing ($49/month) puts your profile at the top of relevant results with a Featured badge — no long-term contract.
